It sets forth the challenges and opportunities relating to availability and use of data about the primary care allied health workforce and considers what we need to know about the supply, activity and impact of the allied health workforce to implement the Government’s Strengthening Medicare primary care reforms. This data is essential to having a strong, well- planned and integrated primary care allied health workforce and to support the move towards integrated multidisciplinary team care.
